Olumide Onadipe is an experimental artist (self professed “adventurer”) who paints and also explores diverse plastics to create powerful sculptures. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2008, followed by a Masters degree in Visual Arts & Education from the University of Lagos in 2012. Olumide is fascinated by textures and environmental themes, and expresses this fascination through works, which he calls capricious and playful – an extension of his artist child. He has taken part in group exhibitions in Ghana and Nigeria.
