The artwork titled ‘Makukhanye’ speaks to the idea of manifestation of our collective dreams and aspirations as people. The artwork depicts a Landscape with a yellow sky which symbolises the sunlight. The stitching of leather offcuts is based to the notion of healing of the traumas of the past that still haunt the ones who live in this land.
