“Datura Noir” takes its name from the poisonous flowering plant Datura wrightii. The Datura blooms in the evening and mornings and closes up during hot weather. It is known for its sweet fragrance. Though it is highly toxic and deadly to humans and animals if consumed. The plant has a duplicitous nature. How we interpret it at face value does not correlate with its true nature. Much like how we treat identity. Identity and life have a duplicitous nature.
