As the saying goes; beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. There are multiple nuances surrounding beauty today where social media and internet trends have taken over our conscience, but authenticity remains an under-discussed subject in today’s social discourse. While seeking beauty, I am still traditional, and my definition of purity can only be described with multiple layers of imagery in the form of a female body awakened by me in bed. This artwork draws its inspiration from a veiled portrait of a comfortable woman in a secluded space. Even while her face may be disguised by a veil her attitude and facial expressions are what determine the presence of a woman in a man’s life. “I’m here” is the perfect assurance for man.
